White Ink

Expanding the possibilities of digital print

Traditionally anything white on a digitally printed page has just been the paper showing through. If you changed the colour of the paper, the white items would be the colour of the paper, altering the appearance of the print. It also made transparent labels tricky to achieve a good result with.

But now with Speedy Print's white ink, you can add white to your prints opening up new possibilities for printing on coloured papers and transparent labels. It can be used on its own, or as an underlay to preserve the correct colouring of images and other design elements.

How do I set up a spot colour

  1. Create a swatch called “White” (Note: name is case sensitive)

  2. Define the Colour Type as “Spot”

  3. Make spot colour 100% Cyan.
